Stud: Hunter Renfrow, WR

In his first game back since fracturing his ribs and puncturing his lung in the Week 12 loss to the New York Jets, Hunter Renfrow provided the Raiders with a much-needed spark in the receiving corp. This is a position group that has been plagued by drops and injuries this season, and was rejuvenated by the sure hands and slippery routes of Renfrow.

On the fourth play of the Raiders first series on offense, Renfrow took a quick slant from Derek Carr and was off to the races, going for 56 yards to score the first touchdown of the game. Renfrow proved to be Carr’s most reliable option, as he was targeted nine times with seven catches for a total of 107 yards.

Always reliable, Renfrow had that one touchdown and four first downs in the game as well. While Renfrow’s production was impressive, what’s equally impressive is that this came only four weeks after fracturing his ribs, and this was also Renfrow’s first 100 yard receiving game since he was in high school.
