Los Angeles Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs

For our final Week 17 match up we have the AFC West champion Kansas City Chiefs vs the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chiefs faced the Chargers earlier in the year in what was a narrow victory in Mexico City,  but now as Phillip Rivers and his Chargers travel to Arrowhead stadium, the tide has certainly not turned in their favor.

The Chargers are now 5-10, and just looking to take down an AFC West rival for pride at this point. The Chiefs on the other hand have a much deeper reason to pull off a win. Already having locked up a playoff spot, they are looking to possibly gain a first round bye in the playoffs. With a win vs the Chargers and the New England Patriots losing to the Miami Dolphins, they can gain the bye.

Now I am not holding my breath on this one, as the Patriots should win, and the Chiefs should as well. I expect Patrick Mahomes and Co. to put the Chargers and their 2019 injury marred season to rest with a win in Arrowhead convincingly.

Prediction: Chiefs 31, Chargers 14

This concludes our 2019 Regular Season predictions, hopefully Raider Nation we can be making our weekly prediction for January 4th, 2020 when the AFC Wildcard games kickoff. Until next time.
