Oakland Raiders at Denver Broncos: 3 Players to Watch in Week 17
By Alex Perl
Hunter Renfrow
The rookie wide receiver out of Clemson has turned into quite a pleasant surprise for the Raiders. This was even more evident this past week, as he racked up 107 yards on seven catches and one touchdown in Los Angeles. Incredibly, that was his first 100-yard game since high school.
The Raiders will need Hunter Renfrow to continue his solid play after his return from injury this weekend against the Broncos. The slant specialist fits perfectly into Jon Gruden’s system, and is a target quarterback Derek Carr will look to often this week to get the Raiders offense going.
With four time pro bowler Chris Harris Jr. likely shadowing Tyrell Williams, Renfrow will have to make the most of his opportunities this week if the Raiders will have any chance of winning in Denver. Remember, the offense looked completely different with him in the slot this past weekend, and if Williams can find a way to beat the Broncos deep, it should open up a ton of room in the slot for Renfrow in Week 17.
