The Oakland Raiders head into the final week of the season with playoff hopes alive, but before anything, they must defeat the Broncos.

Believe it or not, the Oakland Raiders have a legit chance to make the playoffs after an incredibly up and down 2019 season. A win against the Broncos will not be enough to get them in, but it is the only game that they can control.

The Broncos have looked much improved over the last few weeks, but the Raiders showed some life last week, and if a potential playoff push does not motivate the team, nothing will. Since moving to rookie quarterback Drew Lock, the Broncos are 6-8, and are getting good play on both sides of the ball.

Last weekend, the Raiders finally put one back in the win column, after losing four straight after a 6-4 start to the season. That would have seemingly crushed their playoff hopes, but incredibly, they are still alive, and could sneak in as the No. 6 overall seed in the AFC when Sunday’s games are all said and done.

Let’s take a look at a few reasons why the Raiders will finish off the season with a win and defeat the Denver Broncos in Week 17.
