Game Prediction

In their final season as the Oakland Raiders, the Silver and Black have something to play for in Week 17, which is not something we can say in most years. Quarterback Derek Carr stepped up in Week 16 with Jacobs out of the game, and led this team to a victory by throwing, and rushing for a touchdown.

Quietly, Carr is having a solid season for the Raiders, and while he struggles in cold weather, he should be able to move the ball against this Broncos defense on Sunday. Washington should find running lanes, as the Broncos are terrible against the run, and the defensive line should be able to do damage against a Denver offensive line that is very beatable.

I like the Raiders to come out on top in this one, and then hopefully get the help they need from the Indianapolis Colts, Baltimore Ravens, and Houston Texans. If the Raiders can clinch a playoff spot on Sunday, it will be a capper to one of the more up and down seasons we have seen from this team in a long time.

Prediction: Raiders 17, Broncos 14
