In the last game representing Oakland, the Raiders came up just short against the Denver Broncos, falling 16-15. Here are three stars and three duds from Sunday’s action.

The Oakland Raiders still had a shot at making the playoffs coming into Sunday, only they needed a Christmas miracle to make it happen. As we know, the Raiders came up short in that wild playoff scenario, but they really only have themselves to blame. Sure, the Jaguars and Titans both won and the Raiders needed them to lose, but priority one was beating the Broncos and the Raiders were unable to answer the call.

The Raiders found themselves in an unfavorable position after making multiple mistakes over the course of the contest. Sure, the officials did not make anything easier, but the Raiders left a lot of points on the board on their own accord. If the Raiders are to be better in 2020, they need to clean up their game.

Nonetheless, the Raiders had some stand out performers and others that really hurt their stock among the team. In Week 17 the Raiders were playing for playoffs initially, but ultimately some players ended up playing to keep themselves employed this offseason. Some did a better job of ensuring their employment than others, but I won’t spoil anything yet.

With that in mind, let’s look at who left a good impression with the coaching staff and front office, as well as who didn’t in the loss to the Broncos. Frankly, there were far more duds than studs in Sunday’s game, but we will start with Sunday’s stars, if there were any.
