The Oakland Raiders suffered a tough road loss against the Denver Broncos to finish the season, and we continue to learn much of the same about this team.

It was a tough way to end the season for the Oakland Raiders, as their comeback attempt fell just short in the final seconds in a 16-15 loss to the Denver Broncos. Oakland entered the game with a slim playoff chance, but they had to at least handle their own business on the road and were able to do so.

The Raiders finish the season at 7-9, which is undoubtedly an improvement from 2018, and there is a ton of young talent on this team, so the future looks promising. Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock still have a lot of work to do this offseason if they want to compete with the upper echelon of the league, but they built the cap space and draft capital to do so.

In the 2020 NFL Draft, the Las Vegas Raiders will once again have multiple first round selections, which should enable them to bring in two guys who can step in and make an impact much like this rookie class did in 2019. The biggest question surrounding this franchise is whether or not Derek Carr will be the starting quarterback in Sin City, but that will be answered within the next few months.

So as we look towards what should be an exciting offseason for the Raiders as they transition to Las Vegas, here are the last few things we learned from the season finale.
