3. Rodney Hudson

He may not get the recognition he deserves, but Rodney Hudson is not only one of the best centers to put on the Silver and Black, but also a top player at the position in the NFL. The 2015 free agent signing has never been named to an All-Pro team but has made the Pro Bowl three times since joining the team.

Also, he is consistently one of Pro Football Focus’ highest-graded pass-blocking centers and has allowed two sacks in five years as a Raider. To say he has been the cornerstone of this Raiders offensive line would be an understatement, and the team made sure to lock him up long-term this season.

Like Penn, Hudson was an integral piece of the 2016 offensive line that dominated the rest of the league and was widely considered a top three or five unit. At some point, he has to at the very least make the second-team All-Pro list and hopefully that time comes soon.

When it’s all said and done, Hudson will likely join the ranks of Jim Otto and Barret Robbins as one of the best centers in the franchise’s history.
