Biggest Surprise: Richie Incognito

Prior to the start of the 2019 season, Richie Incognito had many questions surrounding his status on and off the football field. With John Gruden using an Al Davis-like approach, he took a gamble on the troubled offensive guard and it paid huge dividends.

Incognito missed the first two games of the season because of a suspension, but after making his 2019 debut in week three, he started to take shape just like his old self. In 766 offensive snaps played this season, Incognito allowed just one sack.

Incognito’s efforts went on notice and he was named a pro bowl alternate this season. Shortly after the Raiders season came to an end, the coaching staff and front office awarded Incognito with a two-year, $14 million deal.
