The Raiders roll into their first season in Las Vegas with a ton of needs, but will Jon Gruden pull the ultimate surprise and attack one position group with both first round picks?

The Raiders’ needs have not changed much since this time last year. The team has a massive need for a true WR1, a linebacker who can not only tackle but play coverage, and another cornerback to lineup alongside Trayvon Mullen. Luckily for the franchise, they once again hold multiple first round picks in 2020, where they will look to make an impact much like they did in 2019.

The Raiders could go a handful of directions in this draft. General Manager Mike Mayock and head coach Jon Gruden could look to draft Clemson linebacker Isaiah Simmons, a speedy wide receiver, or a quarterback to compete with Derek Carr. With that being said, this mock draft has the Raiders going a completely different direction than what most would expect.

Mayock took a big swing this past offseason, bringing in star wide receiver Antonio Brown for two draft picks. However, the feel-good story quickly turned into a nightmare, as Brown would not play a single down in the Silver and Black, and would be released before the season even started.

As they enter 2020, the Raiders need a true WR1 to replace what Brown should have been at the top of their depth chart last season, and there is plenty of talent to go around in the 2020 NFL Draft class. With that said, here is our latest 7-round mock.
