Michael Onwenu, IOL Michigan

The Raiders resigned Richie Incognito and still have Gabe Jackson at the guard spot to enter next year. However, one is going to be 37 entering the 2020 season, and the other has had two injury-riddled seasons in a row that have affected his level of play. So it would be nice to build the depth behind those two going into the future.

From everything that is coming out of the Shrine practices, Michael Onwenu from Michigan has been the best offensive linemen all week. A massive player at 6’3 and 350lbs, Onwenu has been stonewalling people in pass pro and reportedly has shown good feet for someone his size.

Onwenu, along with Denzelle Good, who the Raiders gave an extension this offseason, could provide great depth. This is a franchise that is being built from the offensive and defensive lines out, and Onwenu could be another surprise later round pick that ends up paying huge dividends down the road.
