Pro Football Focus, Michael Renner

  • Pick No. 12: Trevon Diggs, CB, Alabama
  • Pick No. 19: Laviska Shenault, WR, Colorado

Michael Renner from Pro Football Focus released his latest 2020 NFL mock draft, and in it, he has the Raiders attacking the cornerback and wide receiver positions. Last year, Mayock went the Clemson route to add a quality corner, bringing in Trayvon Mullen, who looks like a real CB1 moving forward.

With Pick No. 12,  the Raiders add a player Mullen played against in his last college game, bringing in Trevon Diggs from Alabama. Diggs, the brother of Minnesota Vikings star Stefon, is a solid cover corner with soft hands, and would be a guy who could come in and threaten for a starting job as a rookie in Vegas.

At No. 19, the selection they got in the Khalil Mack trade, the Raiders add one of the more electric playmakers in college football in Laviska Shenault Jr. from Colorado. Though he was not as productive in 2019, he is a guy who can dominate games in the passing game, as well as a return man, two areas where the Raiders could certainly use an upgrade in 2020.
