USA Today: Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz

  • Pick No. 12: CeeDee Lamb, WR, Oklahoma
  • Pick No. 19: Javon Kinlaw, DT, South Carolina

USA Today’s latest 2020 NFL mock draft from Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz has the Raiders addressing one of their more glaring needs with Pick No. 12, adding star Oklahoma wide receiver CeeDee Lamb. Lamb became a favorite of Raiders fans during the 2019 college football season, when he wore a throwback Fred Biletnikoff jersey after an Oklahoma win.

Looking at the Raiders offense, there is no doubt they need a playmaker on the outside, and Lamb is widely regarded as one of the top-2 wide receivers in this draft class. Of course, there is an excellent chance that he does not fall to the Raiders at 12, but if he is there, this would be one of the better scenarios.

At No. 19, the Raiders add one of the more versatile defensive linemen in this draft class, bringing in Javon Kinlaw from South Carolina. This is a guy who could play all over the Raiders defensive line in 2020, as he is big and strong enough to stop the run inside, but can also be a menace in the backfield.
