CBS Sports: Josh Edwards
- Pick No. 12: Justin Herbert, QB, Oregon
- Pick No. 19: Tee Higgins, WR, Clemson
Josh Edwards from CBS Sports like the Raiders to move on from Derek Carr with his first Raiders selection in 2020, bringing in Rose Bowl champion Justin Herbert from Oregon. Of course, after another losing season there are plenty within Raider Nation that would like the Carr-Era to be over, and Edwards has them replacing him with one of the elite arms in this draft class.
Based on how well Herbert played in the Rose Bowl, and if he shows out in the Senior Bowl, there is absolutely no way that the Ducks quarterback falls all the way to No. 12. In fact, many believe that a good Senior Bowl will land him in the top-5, as he is one of the more NFL-ready signal-callers in this draft class.
At No. 19, the Raiders add to their wide receiver group with Tee Higgins from Clemson. Last year, the Raiders hit the jackpot by selecting Hunter Renfrow in the later rounds, and this April, this mock has them bringing in one of his teammates with the pick they received from the Chicago Bears. A physical receiver, Higgins would be a great addition to this position group.
