Michael Pittman Jr., WR, USC: North Team

The USC product’s physical traits are off the charts. At 6-4, 220 lbs., hes considered one of the bigger more physical receivers in this draft. Projected as a day 2 guy, Michael Pittman Jr. enters into one of the deepest WR classes we’ve seen in a while. Any other year he very easily could have round 1 grades attached to his name.

He is praised for his physical play and ability track and high point the ball during contention throws.  His size allows him to secure catches over the middle and also contribute as a blocker in the run game.

His biggest knocks against him are his speed and first step off the line of scrimmage. Many people also point out that he needs to become more advanced in his route tree abilities, though the routes he does excel at, he does very well.

He would be a great addition to a huge position need for the Raiders. While they are expected to take an elite wide receiver with one of their 2 first round picks, they shouldn’t hesitate to pull the trigger if Pittman Jr. is sitting there in the 3rd round when the Raiders are on the clock.

He would be a great possession receiver to be able to pair with someone like Henry Ruggs, Ceedee Lamb, or Tee Higgins. The Raiders would instantly have 3 young receivers with big play ability for years to come with Hunter Renfrow looking to improve on a fantastic second half of his rookie season.
