SB Nation, Dan Kader

  • Round 1, Pick No. 12: Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama
  • Round 1, Pick No. 19: Jacob Eason, QB, Washington

Dan Kader from SB Nation‘s latest 2020 NFL mock also has the Raiders adding Washington quarterback Jacob Eason, a pick that seems to be gaining steam during the Senior Bowl. While CBS Sports has the Raiders taking Eason with the No.12 overall pick, which seems absurd at this point, this mock has them taking him at No. 19 overall.

With the No. 12 pick in his mock draft, Kader likes the Raiders to add a guy who many believe is the best overall wide receiver in this draft class. The debate is going to rage on as to whether or not Jerry Jeudy from Alabama or CeeDee Lamb from Oklahoma will be the first wideout off the board, but in this mock, it is Jeudy.

Jeudy is widely considered the best route-runner in this draft class, and would be a perfect fit atop the Raiders depth chart at wide receiver. It appears the team is going to build around Carr for at least one season, and in Jeudy, they would be getting that WR1 that they were missing last year after Antonio Brown was released prior to the regular season beginning.
