CBS Sports, Josh Edwards
- Round 1, Pick No. 12: Jacob Eason, QB, Washington
- Round 1, Pick No. 19: CeeDee Lamb, WR, Oklahoma
Josh Edwards released his latest 2020 NFL mock draft this past week, and one name was noticeably left off his first round, and that is Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert. Widely regarded as maybe the No. 2 quarterback in this draft class, Edwards feels he may fall into Round 2, where a team would be waiting with open arms.
Staying with the quarterbacks, Edwards like the Raiders to add one at pick No. 12, this time going with Jacob Eason from Washington. Eason is a big, strong armed quarterback who can fit the ball in tight windows, but I just do not see him going this high in Round 1, or even in Round 1 at all.
At pick No. 19, the Raiders do get it right in this mock draft, bringing in arguably the best playmaking wide receiver in this draft class. CeeDee Lamb can come right in and fill the vacant WR1 role on this offense, giving Derek Carr another solid weapon at wideout alongside Tyrell Williams and Hunter Renfrow.
