2020 NFL mock draft roundup: QB Jacob Eason to the Raiders
By Brad Weiss
Bleacher Report, Zach Buckley
- Round 1, Pick No. 12: CeeDee Lamb, WR, Oklahoma
- Round 1, Pick No. 19: Kenneth Murray, LB, Oklahoma
In a 2020 NFL mock draft that I can totally get behind, Zach Buckley from Bleacher Report has the Raiders addressing two of their biggest needs in the first round. Like CBS Sports, Buckley has the Raiders taking CeeDee Lamb in the first round, but taking him seven spots earlier, as he is one of the crown jewels of a very deep wide receiver class.
Lamb could be the missing piece to this Raiders offense, which has an elite running back, one of the better tight ends in the league, and arguably the most complete offensive line. If Carr can get a little more help on the outside, there should be no stopping them in 2020, as it will be his third year in Jon Gruden’s offense.
At No. 19, the Raiders get the best pure linebacker in this draft class, adding Kenneth Murray from Oklahoma. This guy has tremendous lateral movement, makes every tackle, and on the Raiders he will fill one of the more glaring needs on the defensive side of the ball.
