Jason Strowbridge – Defensive Linemen, North Carolina

The Raiders still need to improve their pass rush, and with them likely addressing more pressing needs (WR & LB) in the first round, they’ll need to find someone later in the draft. There were clear standouts on the defensive line like Javon Kinlaw and Jonathan Greenard, but UNC’s Jason Strowbridge also had a good week.

Strowbridge doesn’t have elite burst off the edge but has shown great strength, active hands and, (the keyword of the day) versatility. Without that burst, he will likely be more of a 3-tech than edge defender, but the Raiders could use him in a variety of ways depending on the situation.

According to Vincent Bonsignore of Vegas Nation, the Raiders have already spoken to Strowbridge this week, so he is certainly on their radar.

Strowbridge looks to have made himself a good amount of money this week this his performance.
