Changes for next season

While there are other glaring spots on the roster in desperate needs of upgrades via the draft and free agency, the tight ends group isn’t in desperate need of a shakeup. The group continuously made more of an impact over the course of the season, and the great news is the aforementioned three should be with the Raiders for the future.

Darren Waller, the Raiders’ newly anointed star player, signed a three-year $27 million contract extension back in October. If Waller once again takes another leap in production, on top of being the offensive mismatch that he already is, that contract extension will look like a bargain for the return the Raiders are getting on the field.

Foster Moreau signed a four-year deal after being drafted in the fourth round, and Derek Carrier will remain in Silver and Black through the 2020 season. Barring injury or should Moreau not be ready by the start of the season, expect this group to return in Vegas.
