The Las Vegas Raiders hope to be playing on Super Bowl Sunday again very soon, but until then, we look at some of the best teams that fell just short of a championship.

As we brace for what might be the most challenging Super Bowl to watch in a while for Raiders fans, let’s find a way to take our minds of the Chiefs and Niners and focus back on the silver and black

The Raiders have been fortunate enough to be crowned Super Bowl champions three times in their franchise history (’76, ’80 & ’83), but what about those teams that were so close but couldn’t finish the job?

Looking through the team’s history, there were plenty of talented rosters that were good enough to bring home the title, but for whatever reason, they fell short.

So as we celebrate the 100th year of the NFL and move into a new area of Raiders football in Las Vegas, here are the three best Raiders teams that did not win the Super Bowl.
