Pro: Tom Brady brings leadership and a winning mentality

Even though Tom Brady is out of his prime, there is one thing about him that will never change; he is a winner and a leader. Brady will be able to bring something to the Raiders that they have not had in a long time, and that is a winning mentality, which they desperately need after making the playoffs only once since 2002.

Obviously, Derek Carr wants to win and speaks about it often, but the fact that he has one winning season and often plays scared makes you question if he really is a winner. Brady, on the other hand, has never had a losing season, and even in a somewhat pedestrian season in 2019, he still led his team to an AFC East title and the Divisional Round.

Tom Brady would immediately make those around him better, including the coaches, receivers, and quarterbacks behind him. Tom Brady may not be the quarterback that some Raiders fans want, but it is hard to see him not putting the Raiders into the playoffs, something that Derek Carr has only done one time in his career.
