Looking Ahead

The 2020 season will bring the beginning of a new life for the Las Vegas Raiders as the transition to a new town in a new state. I predict the Raiders will go offense in the draft early and often and will look for defense in free agency as there are plenty of young defenders in 2020 the Raiders can go for.

I see the Raiders having a much better season in 2020 than they did in 2019, and with a lot of cap money to spend, they can look for some younger players to help the team win and get over the playoff drought they’ve been in, save for the one year in 2016. General manager Mike Mayock has been a God Send since joining the organization in January of 2019, and he has more weapons at his disposal in Year No. 2.

Learning from the mistakes of last year will be big for the Raiders as a whole, and they already have some elite players in cornerstone positions. Sure, the big question surrounding this team is the status of quarterback Derek Carr, but looking at this roster as a whole, they have to worry about what is going on around him.
