Round 4 Pick 129: Foster Moreau, TE, LSU

Original Pick: Isaiah Johnson, CB, Houston

Isaiah Johnson has the potential to be a solid corner in the NFL but taking Foster Moreau a bit earlier here gives the Raiders a chance to get a better player later in the draft. Moreau was great for the Raiders this season, creating a great 1-2 punch between him and Darren Waller, who is arguably the best young tight end in the league.

Moreau was reliable in clutch time and was able to find the end zone on a number of occasions. A guy who can not only get the job done in the passing game, but also as a blocker, this is another one of Mayock’s late picks that really exceeded expectations during his rookie season.

The Raiders offense, outside of a few additions to the wide receiver group, is loaded headed into 2020, and Moreau is a big reason why. He had his issues with injuries as a rookie, but expect him to be an incredible player for this franchise moving forward.
