Can get a solid wide receiver later

The Raiders badly need a WR1 for their first year in Las Vegas, but is that really their top need when you look at the roster as a whole? The Raiders receiving group, collectively, is not awful, and if they could get a free agent such as Robby Anderson or trade for Stefon Diggs, they would be set.

Not only could the Raiders get a receiver in free agency, but they could get one later in the draft as well. This is an extremely deep wide receiver class, and Vegas could trade up into the second round and potentially take a player such as Laviska Shenault Jr from Colorado, or TCU’s Jalen Reagor.

Getting a player such as CeeDee Lamb or Jerry Jeudy would be great, but at this point, the defense is more important. Overall, the need for a top wide receiver is the No. 1 priority on the offensive side of the ball, but it is the defense that has been the Achilles Heel for this franchise for as long as I can remember.
