Expiring Contracts

The aforementioned Burfict was signed on a prove it deal and has expressed interest in returning to the Raiders in 2020 now that his suspension is technically over. Will Compton, signed off the street before Week 9, became a starter before the end of the season and his production was a pleasant surprise.

His deal was just for the 2019 season but his play and leadership ability may see him return next year. Compton proved to be a reliable option in the middle of the Raiders defense, and showed that he can run Paul Guenther’s defense when asked to.

Kyle Wilber joined the Raiders after a six-year run in Dallas and is a nice special teams player but any team expecting more from him is in big trouble. He has started one game for Las Vegas in two years and has been used primarily as an injury fill-in on defense.
