The Las Vegas Raiders hold solid draft capital heading into the 2020 NFL Draft, and they could make a splash early next April at No. 12 overall.

Jon Gruden and the Las Vegas Raiders are known for draft night surprises, and this year will be no different. The Raiders make the most controversial pick of this first round, bringing in a quarterback to replace Derek Carr for the 2020 NFL season.

The Raiders need to address multiple positions in this draft, and Raider Nation is divided on who the team should take in the draft. Should the Raiders go all out on defense, selecting a linebacker and a defensive back, or should the team mix it up with a receiver and a defensive player with picks No. 12 and 19 in the first round?

Last season, the Raiders had a three-game improvement, which was solid, but moving to another city, finishing outside of the playoffs is not an option. The Raiders have the talent on both sides of the ball to challenge for at least a Wild Card spot in 2020, which should make this offseason an exciting one.

While there are needs at wide receiver, linebacker, and in the seconday, in this mock, the team goes a different direction, making an immediate splash in Vegas by adding a quarterback that can get the ball down the field. With that said, here is our latest 7-round 2020 mock for the Las Vegas Raiders.
