Round 4, Pick No. 111: Chase Claypool, WR, Notre Dame
The Raiders add another wide receiver, this time adding the 6’4 receiver out of Notre Dame, Chase Claypool. Claypool will likely gain more attention closer to draft day, as he is a touchdown machine that can dominate in the red zone.
By adding Claypool, the Raiders would go into the 2020 NFL season with a depth chart of Ruggs, Williams, Renfrow, and Claypool, as well as having an elite trio at tight end. That should be more than enough weapons for whoever is under center in Sin City.
Round 7, Pick No. 204: Jordan Mack, LB, Virginia
The Raiders bring a new Mack to town, this time out of Virginia. Jordan Mack could be a steal in this draft, as he recorded 7.5 sacks in his senior season, as well as forcing a pair of fumbles. Mack would likely be used more as an edge rusher than a linebacker, but has the ability to play both.
Next. The Las Vegas Raiders have an elite tight end trio from now into the future. dark
So there you have it, our latest 7-round 2020 NFL mock for the Las Vegas Raiders. Of course, all of this hinges on what the front office plans to do with Derek Carr this offseason, as he is once again at the center of every rumor coming out of the organization. If he stays, this changes mightily, but we will have to wait and see.
