Secondary

Cornerback: Byron Jones (Free Agent)

This could be a bit of a stretch, but Byron Jones would be a massive pickup for the Raiders in 2020. The Raiders have struggled at cornerback for years, and Jones would be the best corner the team has had since Nnamdi Asomugha.

Not only is Jones great in coverage, but he can also tackle as well, something that other Raider corners have lacked. Jones will likely be pricey, but if the Raiders could land him, it would be worth it. Add to the fact he can help the younger players get better, he is a no-brainer.

Cornerback: Trayvon Mullen

Trayvon Mullen had a great rookie campaign, gaining the starting job in the second half of the season and showing flashes of greatness. Mullen is showing to already be what we hoped Gareon Conley would be, and if the Raiders can pair Jones and Mullen together, receivers will struggle in Vegas.

Strong Safety: Johnathan Abram

We only saw one game of last years first-round pick Johnathan Abram, but he has already shown that he is exactly what a Raiders should be. The hard-nosed safety will look to have a great comeback year filled with hard hits and energy.

Free Safety: Lamarcus Joyner

Lamarcus Joyner did not have the season the Raiders hoped for last year, but that is partly because of the position he was playing at. Joyner is moving back to free safety in 2020, a position where he should thrive at. Whether you believe Joyner is the guy or not, his contract puts the Raiders in a position where he is not worth moving on from.
