Backfield
Running Back: Josh Jacobs
Josh Jacobs had an incredible rookie season in 2019, rushing for over 1,000 yards and being a candidate for Rookie of the Year honors. Jacobs has the potential to be one of the best running backs in the NFL for years to come, and with a healthy shoulder in 2020, should be featured more in the passing game.
This is a guy who can do it all, and was absolutely worth the first round pick this past April. The Raiders have their running back moving forward, and now they have to continue to bring in more weapons around him.
Fullback: Alec Ingold
Alec Ingold was a pleasant surprise last season, being a big reason for the success of Josh Jacobs during his rookie season. Ingold is used in the Raiders offense as much as any fullback in the NFL, and in all honesty, could be used even more.
When the Raiders need a yard, Ingold is the guy to get the job done, and they should look to feature him more in the red zone as well. As rookies, the duo became one of the best in the game, and they are only going to improve from here.
