#12 Jerry Jeudy – WR, Alabama
With the teams in front of them having more pressing needs, there is a good chance that one of Jerry Jeudy or CeeDee Lamb could fall to the Raiders. NFL Network’s Charley Casserly has Las Vegas getting Jeudy, who is a top-10 player in Casserly’s eyes.
Jeudy has all the tools to become a big-time receiver, and it starts with his tremendous route running. His ability to get in and out of cuts, along with understanding how to set up defender, is something that should translate to the NFL quickly.
Then you add on his speed and ability to make plays with the ball in his hands, and the Raiders would be adding a real weapon on the outside. One thing that might be interesting from Las Vegas’s perspective is the fact the Jeudy does his best work from the slot, which is already occupied by Hunter Renfrow.
#19 Trevon Diggs – CB, Alabama
Once a receiver (like his older brother Stefon), Trevon Diggs, has the size and ball skills to be an impact player for any team that takes him. You can tell he understands what receivers are trying to do to him and use his physicality to disrupt route as often as possible.
The issues with Diggs come down the field where it is clear he doesn’t have great long speed. Press man is going to be his calling cards, but that is of a high premium in today’s league, and its something the Raiders could certainly use.
