Second Round

Entering the 2020 NFL season, one huge area of concern is at the cornerback position, where the Raiders used two 2019 NFL Draft picks. The first pick came in the second round, where Mike Mayock added his second Clemson Tiger is the person of Trayvon Mullen.

Mullen did not get his first start until Week 7, but once he got his feet wet at the NFL level, he showed the kind of player he may become. He moved into the role of CB1 late in the year, and despite a horrific looking injury against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 16, he came right back the following week, showing how tough he really is.

As we turn the page to 2020, Mullen is going to be atop the Raiders depth chart at cornerback, and you can already see him prepping for the upcoming season, as he worked out with Chad Johnson this past week. This is a kid who is going to take away one side of the field in 2020, and the only real question is who the Raiders plan on putting on the other side.
