Bryce Hall, Virginia

This is a kid to really keep an eye on during the combine, as he really did not show out statistically in 2019, but it was for good reason. After a dominating 2018 campaign for the Virginia Cavaliers, teams in the ACC just stopped throwing the football Bryce Hall’s way, due to the fact he was one of the better shut down cornerbacks in the conference.

Hall is a big and physical cornerback, something the Raiders certainly need, and while there are speed concerns, his game definitely translates to the NFL level. He was questionable when it came to tackling this past season, but based on what we saw the year before, that should not be an issue moving forward.

The bottom line is, Hall is the kind of cornerback this team needs, and while some are mocking him as high as the first round, I believe the Raiders could get him if they can somehow sneak into the second. The cornerback position is going to be very interesting this April, and the combine will go a long way in whether or not Hall is a first rounder or not.
