The Las Vegas Raiders are in desperate need for a legitimate WR1 entering 2020, and they begin their quest to find one this week at the NFL Combine.

As they enter Year 2 of the Mike Mayock as general manager Era, the Las Vegas Raiders need to continue to add to the great job he did in Year 1. Last year, Mayock took his first time being a GM in the NFL by the horns, significantly upgrading the roster, and making the Raiders future a bright one via the 2019 NFL Draft.

In 2020, there are still holes to fill, especially on defense, where all three levels of that side of the ball need to be upgrade. You can be sure Mayock will use one of his two first round picks on the defense, especially targeting linebackers or cornerbacks, but one of the picks has to go to the wide receiver group.

When it comes to the roster entering the new league year, the wide receiver position group is the weakest on the offensive side of the ball, and there will be new faces added for sure in free agency, and the draft. Tyrell Williams and Hunter Renfrow will be back, but outside of those two, there has to be more talent, and the quest for a legitimate WR1 will begin during this week’s NFL Combine.

Let us dive into who the Raiders should keep an eye on Thursday.
