How the Raiders 2019 rookie class performed at the NFL Combine
Trayvon Mullen
After picking three times in the first round, the Oakland Raiders had only one more pick until the fourth round, and that came at No. 40 overall in the second. With that pick, the team decided to roll the dice on another Clemson defensive star, and he proved to be well worth the selection once he cracked the starting lineup.
Trayvon Mullen was awarded a 6.30 grade with the possibility of being named a starter within the first two seasons. Mullen exceeded those expectations as he became a starter at the start of Week 7 and showed improvement with more snaps he accumulated under his belt.
Mullen is now considered one of the Raiders’ starting cornerbacks for years to come, and his play showed he could possibly be an elite player on the outside sooner than later. The Raiders have serious issues at the position group moving forward, but in Mullen, at least they have someone they can build around.
