Vertical Jump

Tristan Wirfs continued his incredible Combine when it came time to jump, as he bested Alabama’s Jedrick Wills by two inches in the vertical jump. In fact, both Wirfs and Wills are slated to be first round picks this April, and many believe that Wills is the best overall offensive linemen in this draft class.

  1. Wirfs, Tristian, Iowa, 36.5
  2. Wills, Jedrick, Alabama, 34.5
  3. Adeniji, Hakeem, Kansas, 34.0
  4. Molchon, John, Boise St., 34.0
  5. Herron, Justin, Wake Forest, 34.0
  6. Ruiz, Cesar, Michigan, 33.0

Broad Jump

Wirfs shined again in the broad jump, dominating his competition with a jump of 121. That was five inches better than that of Alex Taylor from South Carolina State. With his incredible efforts in both the vertical and broad jump, Wirfs set Combine records in both categories, and while games are not won at the Combine, he should see his stock continue to rise.

  2. Taylor, Alex, South Carolina St., 116.0
  3. Adeniji, Hakeem, Kansas, 115.0
  4. Jackson, Austin, USC, 115.0
  5. Driscoll, Jack, Auburn, 114.0
  6. Peart, Matt, Connecticut, 113.0
  7. Ruiz, Cesar, Michigan, 113.0
  8. Wills, Jedrick, Alabama, 113.0
  9. Heck, Charlie, North Carolina, 112.0
  10. Cleveland, Ezra, Boise St., 111.0

3-Cone Drill

When it came time to show how well you move right to left, Boise State’s Ezra Cleveland stole the show, putting together best overall marks in both the 3-cone drill, as well as the 20-yard shuffle. These drills are very important in terms of showing your lateral movement, and for Cleveland, he may find himself creeping up draft boards after his performance Friday.

  1. Cleveland, Ezra, Boise St., 7.26
  2. Hennessy, Matt, Temple, 7.45
  3. Runyan, John, Michigan, 7.57
  4. Thomas, Andrew, Georgia, 7.58
  5. Wirfs, Tristan, Iowa, 7.65
  6. Pinter, Danny, Ball St., 7.76
  7. Taylor, Alex, South Carolina St., 7.77
  8. Murphy, Kyle, Rhode Island, 7.81
  9. Jackson, Johan, Ohio St., 7.83
  10. Molchon, John, Boise St., 7.85

20-Yard Shuttle

The 20-yard shuffle was once again won by Cleveland, but some of the bigger name offensive linemen showed out in this category as well. Guys like Wirfs, Wills, and Andrew Thomas all finished in the top-10, and all three of those guys are supposed to go in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

  1. Cleveland, Ezra, Boise St., 4.46
  2. Hennessy, Matt, Temple, 4.60
  3. Pinter, Danny, Ball St., 4.62

Next. Las Vegas Raiders 2019 Position Review: Defensive Ends. dark

While the Raiders are going into this draft season with their starting offensive line in tact, Gabe Jackson does carry a high price tag, and the team may want to save money by releasing him. That means they are going to be in on possible drafting his replacement in the 2020 NFL Draft, but even if they keep Jackson, Mike Mayock dives into every prospect, and the big uglies are no different.
