The Raiders are all packed and ready to move from Oakland to Las Vegas but not everyone is making the trip. Here are seven players who likely won’t be joining the Raiders in Sin City.

The Las Vegas Raiders are in the midst of a rebuild under Jon Gruden and GM Mike Mayock and the move to a new city provides the team with an opportunity to build a new identity. Or in this case, rebuild the identity of a team that is one of the prestige franchises in the NFL but has fallen on some hard times in the 21st century.

The 2019 season was the second step in the rebuild after the roster teardown that took place in 2018 as the Raiders improved from 4-12 to a much more respectable 7-9. More important than just the improvement in team record was the improvement in overall talent as the Raiders used the their tremendous draft capital and cap space to find talented players in positions of need.

As the team grows and evolves in to what Raider Nation will hope is a contender in Las Vegas, some of the roster fat needs to be trimmed and many of the players on the roster in Oakland may not need to look for housing in Nevada.

Let’s take a look at who may be lacing them up for another team in 2020.
