With the NFL handing out compensatory picks on Tuesday, the Las Vegas Raiders now have their selections set for the 2020 NFL Draft.

The Las Vegas Raiders will play host to the 2020 NFL Draft, as long as it is not cancelled due to the coronavirus, and the home team has plenty of draft capital. For the second straight year, the Silver and Black hold more than one first round selection, both of which will come within the first 19 selections.

In addition, the Raiders also hold three third round picks, giving them five selections in the first 91 spots. That is more than enough ammunition for general manager Mike Mayock, who struck gold after the first round last year with guys like Trayvon Mullen, Hunter Renfrow, Foster Moreau, and of course, Maxx Crosby.

Heading into this draft season, the Raiders still have needs on both sides of the ball, but have enough salary cap space to make some splashes before April. They have been rumored to be in on everyone from Cory Littleton to Tom Brady, and hopefully they actually spend some big money on the defensive side of the ball.

In terms of the draft, the Raiders also may be in position to move up or down in the first round, which is another thing to keep an eye on. This Tuesday, the league announced the compensatory picks for all 32 NFL teams, and while the Raiders got none, it did solidify their draft picks for 2020.

Here is the complete list of Raiders 2020 Draft spots.

  • Round 1, Pick No. 12
  • Round 1, Pick No. 19 (From Chicago Bears)
  • Round 3, Pick No. 80
  • Round 3, Pick No. 81 (From Chicago Bears)
  • Round 3, Pick No. 91 (From Houston via Seattle)
  • Round 4, Pick No. 121
  • Round 7, Pick No. 227

The Raiders second round pick belongs to the Chicago Bears, and holding three third rounders, it will be interesting to see if they try and trade up into the second round. In addition, there is word that Gabe Jackson may be traded this offseason, and he could bring back at least a third round selection as well.

Next. Las Vegas Raiders should attack linebacker spot in free agency and draft. dark

With Mayock and Jon Gruden at the helm, the roster has been turned over mightily since last January, and you can expect more changes coming. They have already released linebacker Tahir Whitehead this offseason, clearing over $6 million in cap space, so draft needs will be different  by the time the actual draft rolls around.
