In most mock drafts, if the Raiders are drafting Henry Ruggs III from Alabama, it is with the 19th pick. Although fans will want to see the Raiders take Oklahoma’s CeeDee Lamb or Alabama’s Jerry Jeudy here, I believe the Raiders will fall in love with Henry Ruggs.

Ruggs is always described as the fastest receiver in the draft, which is true, but he can do much more than run fast. Ruggs is a great route-runner as well as being able to go up and get the ball in contested moments.

Along with that, Ruggs has great hands and rarely drops passes, something Raiders receivers have struggled with in the past. Ruggs may not be looked at as the best receiver in the class, but he seems like the type of player Gruden will want. Ruggs will be able to blow the offense open with his explosiveness, and defenses will always have to keep a few eyes on him when he is on the field.
