All offseason I have had the Raiders taking Chase Claypool late in the draft, but after his phenomenal scouting combine, the Raiders will have to take him earlier than expected. The Raiders double down on receiver this draft, and for good reason, as it is one of the few weak position groups on offense.

The Raiders receiving group was extremely weak last season, but with the addition of a speedy receiver like Ruggs, a big athletic receiver like Claypool, and hopefully a healthy Tyrell Williams and Hunter Renfrow, the Raiders receiver group goes from a weakness to a strength. Claypool has the size and speed to be a freak of a player at the next level.

Darren Waller burst onto the scene as one of the best tight ends in football last season, and running back Josh Jacobs should have won the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year honors. This could end up being an elite offense for the Silver and Black in 2020, no matter who is under center.
