The Las Vegas Raiders and the NFL will not see a delay in their league year, as the legal tampering period will kick off at noon ET on Monday.

Despite the coronavirus pandemic that is sweeping the world, the NFL will not stop, and the Las Vegas Raiders, as well as the other 31 teams will kick off their new league year this week. On Sunday, it was announced that the new CBA was agreed upon, locking in labor peace until 2030, and later in the day, the news that the league would start on time came down.

That is huge news for not only the NFL, but also the world, as the NFL starting on time brings at least a little normalcy to the world. The coronavirus pandemic has dominated headlines this past month, as the number of those infected continue to mount, and all continents are gripped with terror.

For the Raiders, they are in good position to make a lot of moves over the next week, including adding some talented players to their defense. The Silver and Black have needs at all three levels of their defense, as well as needing a true WR1 on the offensive side of the ball, so general manager Mike Mayock has his work cut out for him.

The league year will become official at 4pm ET, so plan on a lot of moves being  made by the Raiders over the next week or so. Of course, the Tom Brady narrative will dominate the storyline early, but this team has a lot of needs heading into next season, and finally have the cap space to make some noise.

dark. Next. Are the Las Vegas Raiders now the front-runners for Tom Brady?

Sunday, the Tennessee Titans re-signed quarterback Ryan Tannehill, taking them out of the Brady race, and the San Francisco 49ers are reportedly out as well. There has been a ton of rumors regarding TB12 landing in Vegas for the 2020 season, and as we enter the legal tampering period, those rumors are still very much alive.
