17. Dallas Cowboys: Kristian Fulton, CB, LSU
The Dallas Cowboys chose to pay their offensive stars this offseason, inking quarterback Dak Prescott and wide receiver Amari Cooper in free agency. This resulted in the team losing star cornerback Byron Jones to the Miami Dolphins, and they look to address that loss by selecting a good, young corner in Kristian Fulton from LSU at pick No. 17.
18. Miami Dolphins: A.J. Epenesa, Edge, Iowa
With their second of three first-round picks in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins switch to the defensive side of the ball, adding one of the best pass rushers in the draft. A.J. Epenesa may not have had a great Combine, but he is a special player, and would be a solid addition to a Dolphins defense that has already gotten so much better this offseason.
19. Las Vegas Raiders: Henry Ruggs III, WR, Alabama
Although they passed on CeeDee Lamb and Jerry Jeudy earlier, the Las Vegas Raiders are still able to add an explosive wide receiver, adding the incredibly fast Henry Ruggs III to Jon Gruden’s offense. The addition of Ruggs gives the Raiders a legitimate WR1 on the roster, moving Tyrell Williams to WR2, and the automatic Hunter Renfrow to the slot, giving Derek Carr a solid trio atop the depth chart.
20. Jacksonville Jaguars: Kenneth Murray, LB, Oklahoma
Once again, the Jacksonville Jaguars add defensive help, this time adding a three-down linebacker in Oklahoma’s Kenneth Murray. Murray is the best pure linebacker in this draft class, can play on the inside, or out, and for a Jaguars defense in rebuilding mode, he instantly becomes their leader on that side of the ball.
