Free Agency: Josh Gordon

Josh Gordon is a receiver the Las Vegas Raiders could use instantly. The former superstar has been in the news in the past couple of years for his inability to pass a drug test. However, the new CBA states that a player can use marijuana, which was a drug he has had his issues with.

He played with New England for a few years and having experience with Tom Brady isn’t exactly bad. This is a guy who can still take the lid off a defense at any time, and the Raiders with Jon Gruden have been known to be a soft landing spot for guys with checkered pasts who are downright elite in physical ability.

Even better for the Raiders is his price tag. Las Vegas could land him for less than $1.5 million or even the veteran minimum. He’s an unrestricted free agent for the Seattle Seahawks right now and it doesn’t appear they’re going to make him a deal he can’t refuse to stay there. Last season his salary was $833k and for the skills he can bring, even for 1 year, that’s worth it.
