Trade with the Los Angeles Rams for Brandin Cooks

The rumor mill has been circling that the Rams are willing to part ways with wide receiver Brandon Cooks. The 2018 NFC Champions are looking to made a trade for him, and I think the Raiders could make a move for him and try to bring him back to the form he had before all the concussions.

Cooks moved the sticks 32 times last season while compiling 13.9 yards per catch. He is a receiver that is a deep threat and could be valuable in the long run. With the amount of draft capital the Raiders have, I wouldn’t be surprised to see them make a trade like this for a receiver with something left in his tank.

Cooks is a player who can stretch the field and help Derek Carr become more aggressive down the field like most of us want him to be. Relying on the running game won’t be enough to get past the Kansas City Chiefs, who are currently in command of the AFC West, but this offense is building to the point where they could be elite themselves in 2020.
