Everson Griffen

The Minnesota Vikings are making wholesale changes along their defensive line, and have already seen defensive tackle Linval Joseph leave via free agency. Another big-time free agent is edge rusher Everson Griffen, who would be a nice fit on any defense in the NFL.

Griffen made 15 starts last year for the Vikings and rang up eight sacks.  Griffen might not be the same player he was in 2017 when he had 13 sacks but he can still get after the QB. For the Raiders, they seem pretty set at the edge rusher spot heading into next season, especially after signing Carl Nassib this week.

Although he is 32 years old, Griffen can still contribute as a rotational pass rusher and be a mentor to some of the younger players on defense. Someone is going to give this guy some money this offseason, but it is not likely to be the Silver and Black.
