Ha Ha Clinton-Dix

Having already made stops in Green Bay, Washington, and Chicago, Clinton-Dix is looking for his fourth team in seven seasons. The veteran safety could be brought into Las Vegas as a depth piece, and he should have a lot of suitors now that the top cornerbacks in this free agency period are off the board.

Clinton-Dix is one of the better tackling safeties in the NFL.  Pro Football Focus gave him a grade of 74.2 overall which is 19th among all safeties.  He has 16 interceptions in 96 career games, which means he is also adept at being a ballhawk in the secondary.

Las Vegas has already brought in Jeff Heath, and with guys like Johnathan Abram, Erik Harris, and Lamarcus Joyner returning in 2020, they do not have a need at safety. However, this is a secondary that has been downright bad for a decade, so you can believe Mike Mayock is going to at least kick the tires on everyone available.
