With only slight upgrades in the secondary, the Las Vegas Raiders may need to address cornerback early in the draft and there are a couple of worthy prospects.

The Las Vegas Raiders had a couple of critical issues to address this offseason, and the front office certainly hit one of them by acquiring a couple of new linebackers.

Nick Kwiatkoski and Cory Littleton will quickly improve the Raiders’ ability to cover the middle of the field, but what about the outside?

Las Vegas has Trayvon Mullen at one corner spot, and he showed some promise in his rookie season, but he will need a running mate.

Perhaps the team is satisfied with their new free agent signing Eli Apple, but he struggled with penalties in New Orleans, and we know Jon Gruden won’t stand for that very long. And with the Raiders having two first-round picks, nothing is stopping them from continuing to upgrade at cornerback.

This class has a lot of talent at the position, and the Raiders could have two young studs if they take one of these prospects to pair with Mullen long term.

So who exactly are the big names that are worthy of first-round consideration?

Jeffrey Okudah from Ohio State is the top corner in the draft class, but we won’t be including him because I won’t be considering trade-ups in this scenario. And Okudah dropping to #12 would mean several other teams have lost their minds. So we’ll be focusing on the next guys who are maybe not at the overall level of Okudah but still possess the immense talent to be a top corner in the NFL.

Here are three guys to look at.
