13. San Francisco 49ers: DL, Javon Kinlaw, South Carolina

Previous Pick: Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts and San Francisco 49ers agreed to a blockbuster trade that will send DeForest Buckner to the Colts in return for their 13th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. The 49ers will now use that pick to replace the void left by Buckner.  Javon Kinlaw steps in and that 49ers defensive line does not miss a beat.

Kinlaw dominates with a combination of size, length, and power.  He has an explosive first step and heavy hands. In addition, many believe he is the most versatile defensive linemen in this draft class, as he can play on the inside, but also get the edge, and the 49ers are built on strong defensive line play.

14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: OT, Mekhi Becton, Louisville

Previous Pick: Austin Jackson

With Tom Brady now the quarterback in Tampa Bay they have a very short window to win a Super Bowl.  The best way to do that is on the shoulders of your six-time Super Bowl champ who has been in the league for 20 years.

Brady has plenty of weapons surrounding him so the goal for the Bucs now is to keep him upright. Mekhi Becton is a mammoth, but is surprisingly nimble and quick on his feet for a man who weighs 364 pounds.  As long as Becton keeps his weight in check he should have a long career in the league.

15. Denver Broncos: WR, Henry Ruggs III, Alabama

The Denver Broncos have quietly made some very good moves to build their roster in free agency, despite letting Chris Harris walk. Melvin Gordon and Phillip Lindsay form one of the better backfields in the league, Graham Glasgow was added to bolster the offensive line and the trades for Jurrell Casey and A.J. Bouye will help on defense.

The roster still has two glaring needs, one is left tackle and another is a wide receiver to pair with Courtland Sutton.  John Elway sees the difference a speedster like Tyreek Hill makes for a young quarterback.  The combination of Drew Lock’s big arm and the deep speed of Henry Ruggs III is a scary thought.

16. Atlanta Falcons: DE, A.J. Epenesa, Iowa

Previous Pick: Javon Kinlaw

Vic Beasley signed with the Tennessee Titans and Desmond Trufant was released, so there is work to do on defense for the Atlanta Falcons.  Beasley was replaced with the signing of Dante Fowler but I think there is still a need for a second pass rusher.

A.J. Epenesa had a disappointing combine which may have some teams concerned but just pop in his tape and you will see a highly disruptive player with a developed array of pass rush moves. At 280 pounds he has the size and strength to kick inside on passing downs to get more speed on the field to rush from the edge.
