Ashtyn Davis was a duel sport athlete at Cal, as he earned a scholarship as a track athlete and walked on the football team.

He is a gifted athlete, has grade A character, and has range for days on the back end.  For years the Raiders defense has lacked game changers, that is no longer the case with Davis and Johnathan Abram overseeing the secondary.  His strength is as a single high safety, but has also shown abilities to cover in the slot.

The other aspect you’ll love about Davis is in his freshman and sophomore years at Cal while trying to earn more snaps on defense, he earned special teams MVP.

With Trayvon Mullen, Kristian Fulton, Ashtyn Davis, and Johnathan Abram the Raiders secondary has been completely retooled and has the potential to be a strength of the team for many years.
