In honor of April Fools Day, Just Blog Baby is looking back at the five draft picks that made the Las Vegas Raiders look like fools

The Raiders have existed as a franchise since 1960 and have been in the NFL since 1960 so it should be expected that there will be some massive swings and misses in the draft. Even in this day and age of advanced analytics and access to more film and data than ever before, some draft picks still don’t pan out.

Along with all of the unknowns that come with predicting which college players will succeed on the field, there are the additional challenges of predicting how they will deal with everything off the field that comes with being an NFL player.

Many of the players on this list of picks that made the Raiders look like April Fools did not pan out due to a lack of ability but rather a knack for getting in trouble off the field or not having the right attitude and approach to the game. Of course some players were just not good enough for the NFL through no fault of their own.

So on this day of jokes and silly games, let’s take a look back at which draft picks that Raider Nation wishes were just pranks.
